The 10 Indian Commandments

The Ten Indian commandments were commandments that the Native Americans follow. One of the commandments was to help and be kind to those that need it. Another one of the commandments was to take full responsibility of your actions. This means that when you do something that ends up being bad you have to take responsibility for what you did. Another one of the commandments was to always do what you know is right, This means that you always have to do what believed were right to do

Reflexologist

Duties and Responsibility: Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.

Salary: $37,180-$39,760

Education: In order to become a Reflexologist you must need an associate's degree, a license or certification for massage therapists, 500 hours of massage therapy education, and an ability to perform quality 60-90 minutes massage sessions.  

Demand for this profession: Employment of massage therapists is projected to grow 22% from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations.

Reflection: No I would not like to be a Reflexologist because it seems boring and I would not like to touch other people.

What this quote means is that when you promise something then you're going to keep that promise. Promises should never be broken. When you promise something is because your going to do it and keep that promise because you want that other person to trust you.  Once you break a promise you will lose it. You are giving your word. If you say you’re going to do something or keep a secret then you have to do it no matter what comes in the way of that. Although there are times when I break some promises but I didn’t think it was a big deal for me but it was sure a big deal for the person who was trusting me. There are times when you should NEVER break a promise when that promise is really sentimental or deep. But in general you should never break a promise if you’re giving your word for it.

Registered Nurse

Duties  and Responsibilities: Perform physical exams and health histories.Provide health promotion, counseling and education.Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.Interpret patient information and make critical decisions about needed actions.

Salary:$45,880-$66,640

Education:Associate degrees or Bachelor's degrees in nursing.

Demand for this profession: We need nurses because than who will check us when we're sick. There also doctor's assistant who will help the doctors if there is nom nurse?

Reflection: No i would not like to be one because this career does not interest me at all.

What i think this quote means is that doing the right thing is always right. When you do something good it will never be wrong. Also when you're on a mission to do something good it will never fail because good is always right. For example something good that a person can do is hold the door open for them. Especially a man for a lady. This is considered doing good because no one will get mad at you for holding the door open for them. They will be happy and if there nice generous people they will turn back and tell you thank you. Who doesn’t like a person that does good? People that do good in life will always be a success. Be a good person in life and always choose the right be a CTR person. Never be a CTW person. Those people are just bad, they're just bad influence around others.

Recreation Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:Recreational therapists plan, direct, and coordinate recreation-based treatment programs for people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. Recreational therapists use a variety of modalities, including arts and crafts, drama, music, dance, sports, games, and community reintegration field trips to help maintain or improve a patient’s physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Salary:$30,813 - $52,645

Education:A bachelor's degree in recreational therapy.

Demand for this profession: Well we need these therapist because they help people disabilities.

Reflection:No I would not like to be one because this doesn't interest me.

What I think this quote means is that when you make your decision on something you’re making it because it’s right. You should always choose the right decision no matter what. Don’t choose it because you think it will make you look popular. It doesn’t matter how you judge the option. What matters is that it is correct. Your decision can mean anything but just make the correct one is what this quote is telling us. Take responsibility of your decision even if you stand alone and everyone goes against it. We shouldn’t make decisions by what others think or by popularity but we should make decisions by what we know is right. We should not go with the cheap way or the easy way because it will only hurt you in the long run.We should be taking the right way because it will benefit us in many different ways.

Coast Guard

Demand for this particular career: we need Coastguards because they're the ones who protect the marines.

Reflection: No I would not like to be one because they get payed very little.

What i think he is trying to say is that it is up to us to make a notice of what’s right and sound good and to not make a trend of what is bad. To concentrate on what’s positive in your life such as respect, honesty, and a good name. These are things that sound good.  It’s better to make a trend of what’s right then something that is wrong so we can influence the younger generation so they can make better choices. He wants us to make popular on what’s good because he wants everybody to know what is the right thing. Something you can do to promote to make popular is to help those in need.

Pediatrician  

Duties and responsibilities:A medical practitioner specializing in children and their diseases.

Salary:$173,000- $395,000

 

Education:Require four years of medical school and 3-8 years of internships and residencies.

Demand for this profession:I think that pediatricians are needed because whenever your kid is sick u go to a pediatrician for they can see what is going on with them.If we don’t have pediatricians than who will we take our kids too for they can get help.   

  

Reflection: No i would not like to be one because when i need to give the child a shot it’s scary because I’ am scared of needles.

Police officer

Duties and Responsibilities:A police officer is a warranted law employee of a police force. In the United States, "officer" usually is the formal name of the lowest police rank.

Salary:$47,894-$67,858

Education:Be a United States citizen,Be at least 21 years of age,Have a high school diploma or equivalent education,Possess a valid driver's license,Have no prior convictions.

Demand for profession: We need police officers to keep law and order and arrest offenders.  

                                  

Reflection: No I would not like to be one because i’m not trying to get killed.

What I think this quote is trying to say is that to be a great character you need to have great intellect to be the character you want to be. A great character shows to people who you are and how you act, and feel. But if you don't have great intellect then you will not be showing anyone that you are a great person you will be showing them nothing and they will think that you are a person with no respect and no loyalty. And this show whether you choose the right or choose the wrong and you show the people who don't respect you that you are a responsible person and you tell them that you are your own character and that no one can tell you what to be.

Mental Health Counselor   

Duties and Responsibilities: Some mental health counselors help people who have normal cognitive processes cope with difficult life events, for example, physical illness, death of loved ones, and relationship problems or divorce. Others help people manage serious mental illnesses like bipolar disorder. Counselors need to know when to refer clients or patients for additional resources and how to identify when abuse may be happening or when there is a risk of suicide or other violence.

Education: Must have a master’s degree in counseling.Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling.Earn a Doctorate in Counseling.

Demand for this profession: I think we need Mental Health counselors because they help people that have mental problems. They also help people that have problems at home or if their getting abused.

X-Ray Technician  

Duties and Responsibilities: X-Ray Technician use cutting-edge imaging methods to visualize the inside of the human body. The pictures they create help physicians to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries with great accuracy.

Salary:$36,000-$76,000  

Education: Associate's Degree,three years of earning an associate’s degree.

Demand for this profession: X- Ray Technicians are needed because there doctors that examine the human body to now what disease you have for they can treat it . There needed for they can treat patients who are sick.

Reflection: Yes, I would like to be an X-Ray Technician because it seems fun examining other people’s bone too see what is wrong  with them and see how you can help.

What this quote means is that people who are great than there good. If you are a person who does good things in their life than your a great person. Also if you never choose the wrong. What makes a person truly great is if they always do good in life and choose the right always tell the truth never lie. Always get to what they want to be or set by doing it right. Don’t cheat your way to getting what you really want.

Radiation Therapist

Duties and responsibilities:A radiation therapist primarily works with patients being treated for cancer.A radiation therapist uses beams of radiated light to locate and treat cancerous tumors according to the plan prescribed by a radiologist and oncologist. She or he records a patient's medical information, locates tumors using x-rays and develops treatment plans within the guidelines.

Salary:  $69,344-$85,649

Education: 2- or 4-year program in radiation therapy,degree in radiography. Associate's degree.

   

Demand for this profession: Radiation therapist are needed because they know how to find tumors on patients and help them.

Reflection: No I would not like to be one because that is said having to tell your patients that they have a tumor.

What this person is trying to say is that cheating yourself to get something you really want isn’t worth doing that. Just do it the right way. Because hard work pays off. You should never cheat in life because than you will regret it. For example say your parent said you will only get a phone if you score a perfect score on your final. So you cheat on the test to get a good grade. You come home and tell your mom that you got 100% on the test. But did you really work hard to get that perfect score? Or you cheated your way through? Than 2 days later you feel really guilty for cheating. So never cheat yourself through life. Always work yourself to the top to get what you really deserve. Another example is if you go to the gym and see how buff those men are and tell yourself well that how buff I really want to be. You start working out but tell yourself this is going to take forever. So you decide to take steroids. You cheated your way to getting yourself buff. Now ask yourself does it really feel right to cheat yourself to get what you want?

Psychologist  

Duties and Responsibilities:  Psychologists study the human mind. Their research helps us understand behavior, memory and mental health disorders. Through counseling and experimentation, psychologists work to promote safety, understanding and good mental health.bv

Salary: $69,280 - $70,650

Education:  Earn a Bachelor's Degree.Earn A Master's Degree. Earn a PHD or PsyD.

Demand: I think there should be psychologist because there’s a lot of people out there that have mental problems and they need someone to talk too.
