Duties and Responsibilities:The U.S. Coast Guard is one of the five armed forces of the United States and the only military organization within the Department of Homeland Security. The Coast Guard is an adaptable, responsive military force of maritime professionals whose broad legal authorities, capable assets, geographic diversity and expansive partnerships provide a persistent presence along our rivers, in the ports, littoral regions and on the high seas.
Salary:$15,125-$20,000
Education: - Age 17-27 for active duty 17-39 for reserve duty.

- Background check
- Personal evaluation
- Physical fitness requirements
- Height and weight requirements  
Demand for this particular career: we need Coastguards because they're the ones who protect the marines.
Reflection: No I would not like to be one because they get payed very little.
