Memorial Day

1.Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for

remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

   2. It’s on Monday, May 30.

   3.Some ways to show honor and respect to those who are in the  military are attending to a ceremony that honors to those who fought or visiting a grave and thanking them.

5. Memorial day use to be called Decoration Day.Also in 1971, Congress passed the National Holiday Act, which changed Memorial Day to the last Monday in May to ensure a three-day weekend.

6. Memorial day is that it's a remorse day because you are celebrating or honoring those who are already dead. It could be really emotional to those who lost a loved one while honoring our country. Those who died or came back from war deserve full respect from everyone for serving their country. It takes bravery and strong guts to serve for our country. It’s important to respect them because You don’t know what a simple thank you or a salute does to a service man. Just the acknowledgement that they volunteered to lay down our lives to keep this country free. Put a single rose on their headstone and say thank you. Without the sacrifices those brave individuals made in the name of freedom, we would not have the ability to sell Ford vehicles, enjoy time with our friends and families, or many of the other things that we take for granted each day.

1. Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There’s less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.

3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught).
5. Other people trust you more when you tell the truth.
6. You don’t have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
7. You gain a reputation for being truthful - a trait most people value.
8. Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside.

What i think she’s trying to say with these 8 great reasons to tell the truth is that  there is no need to lie when you can just tell the truth. It is always right to tell the truth no matter what situation you’re in. Why lie to someone if you know that you wouldn’t like to get lied to. If you lie, there are many consequences that can lead to lying. You will either get caught, lose trust from a person, lose respect, and maybe will be disliked. You shouldn’t lie because it can make you a better person and your image will represented better. These are right examples on why you should tell the truth and it’s correct because it tells examples on how errors can be fixed and making up lies can be worst. If you want to gain trust by someone you should always be honest with them.  Another reason why you shouldn’t lie is because the person you lied to will probably get hurt. It’s hard to forgive someone whom they trusted. And gaining trust and respect back isn’t easy. I agree with Barbara A.

Yoga Therapist

Duties and responsibilities: Yoga Therapist you would use yoga to help with physical and emotional issues or specific health problems. They work with people who have a range of physical problems, such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure or back pain. They also help people who have emotional issues like stress, anxiety or depression.

Education:To become a yoga therapist, you will need to be a qualified yoga teacher and have taken a course in yoga therapy.

 

Demand for this profession:As a yoga therapist you would use yoga to help people with physical and emotional issues or specific health problems.

I think this quote means that if you do something wrong in a few minutes it can easily affect your entire life just by doing a little wrong thing in life. I also think that if you do the right thing then it could positively affect your entire life by   just doing a right thing. Many criminals that do  crime assume that what they have done isn’t going to affect their life in any type of way. They assume that what they do is going to be forgotten in a couple of years. But in reality their whole life is going to change just because they decide to choose the wrong and change in their life suddenly happens. You also need to challenge yourself into telling the truth. Cheating can also lead you into serious trouble. If you cheat on a test or on a school exam then you wouldn’t be learning anything. Then when it comes to reality and you’ve cheated on the thing your face you wouldn’t know how to deal with it. When i see people cheating it catches my attention into that person is lazy or doesn’t know how to do it.

There was an indian that he wanted to get out of indian youth. So he wanted to prove that he was brave for he can go into manhood. So the indian teenager took a challenge. He climbed the mountain all the way to the peak top. He went with no food or water. When he got to the top he was so proud of himself. He felt like a man. Than he heard  a noise he turned around and there was a rattle snake. The snake told him i’m very cold and very hungry. And that he was going to die soon, so he told the indian if he could pick him up and put him under his shirt and down to the bottom of the mountain. The indian said no no no i know you're kind as soon as i pick you up you're going to bite me and i will die. The snake kept on insisting so the indian said fine and grabbed the snake and put it under his shirt and took it to the bottom of the mountain. The snake promised the indian that he would not bite him. Then as soon as the indian put the snake on the ground the snake bit his leg and the indian fell on the floor. The indian said you promised you weren’t going to bite me. The snake said you knew what i was when you picked me up.

What i think this quote means is that when you don’t know how to make a right decision or struggling to make one, the best option you can make is to do the right thing. Is what Theodore says. So when you are debating on what to do at a hard moment just remember that you should pick or go with the correct thing. Especially if it is majorly big decision you should always go with the right thing. You should always choose the right even if there will be a negative consequence to it, it is still the right thing to do. You will feel good about yourself when you decide to do the right thing. One example of doing the wrong this is cheating. If you decide to cheat on a test instead of doing it the right way and study instead. In the future when your teacher wants to do a review about the same thing, you won’t know what it’s about and you’ll end up failing that review. The best and most productive thing you can do is study for the test.

Teacher

Duties and responsibilities: A person whose job is to teach students about certain subjects.

Education:Every aspiring K-12 educator can enroll in a 4-year bachelor's degree program in education to become a teacher.

Demand for this particular career:There will always be a need for great teachers. Regardless of temporary economic conditions, hiring practices, budget cuts or any other factors that impact the education system, the need for teachers is timeless and universal. Society will always need educators, and in that respect, teaching is one career in which you can be confident you will always have a purpose.

What this quote is saying is that when u do something that isn't choosing the right, than it’s not right. For example say u tell your parents that you have very good grades. They asked you if they could see your report card? You said no because  you couldn’t take it home. And you didn’t know that the school  mailed them home.  So your parents said ok but you better not be lying to me you say I’m not. You think that you got away with your lie. Than the next day when you came home from school your mom has your report card in your hand. And she said I thought you had good grades? You stutter and don't know what to say.. So she takes your phone away for 3 months. See for lying you pay consequences. Never lie because it does not bring you anything good. Always choose the right!!!!!

Summer Vacation

My family and i are planning to go to a lot of places during summer. I'm really excited because we are going to TJ for the first 3 weeks of summer vacation. Were going to our aunt's house which is my moms sister. Than from her house were going to go visit my aunt in Mexico which is my mom’s other sister. I’m really excited because i’m going to meet my mom’s sister in Mexico. During the time that were over there my mom’s sister in TJ takes us to places like: the beach, eat at a restaurant, and she said she was going to take us to papa’s and beer. When we come back home i’m going to go to Six Flags with my friend’s. I haven’t seen them since middle school. The only way we communicate is texting each other. One of the girls that i'm going with is my best friend. Shes such an amazing person. After that i'm going to Raging Waters with my half brothers girlfriend. I'm going with her and there 2 daughters. I’ve only been there once when i was small i don’t really remember much but i know it's going to be fun!!! I can’t wait till summer vacation comes because i'm super excited of all the thing my family and i are going to do. Also my dad is going to buy me a camera to take a lot of pictures.

What i think this quote means that he would never tell his word of honor to anyone. Which this means u could put him in jail torture him. That won’t matter to him because he will never tell his word of honor. Another example is that if you draw a chalk line around him and you tell him that before he gets out that circle he must say his word of honor. He says he would rather roth or starve to death before telling his word of honor.

Medical Scientist

Duties and Responsibilities:Medical scientists conduct research aimed at improving overall human health. They often use clinical trials and other investigative methods to reach their findings.

Education:Bachelor's degree in biology, medical school 2 years taking courses such as anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, microbiology, pathology, medical ethics, and medical law.

Demand for this profession:This growth is attributed to the need for medical scientists to develop pharmaceutical drugs – especially drugs that can combat strains of diseases that are resistant to current antibiotics.

 

Reflection:Yes I would like to be one because i like mathematics and science.
