“You knew what I was when you picked me up”  

There was an indian that he wanted to get out of indian youth. So he wanted to prove that he was brave for he can go into manhood. So the indian teenager took a challenge. He climbed the mountain all the way to the peak top. He went with no food or water. When he got to the top he was so proud of himself. He felt like a man. Than he heard  a noise he turned around and there was a rattle snake. The snake told him i’m very cold and very hungry. And that he was going to die soon, so he told the indian if he could pick him up and put him under his shirt and down to the bottom of the mountain. The indian said no no no i know you're kind as soon as i pick you up you're going to bite me and i will die. The snake kept on insisting so the indian said fine and grabbed the snake and put it under his shirt and took it to the bottom of the mountain. The snake promised the indian that he would not bite him. Then as soon as the indian put the snake on the ground the snake bit his leg and the indian fell on the floor. The indian said you promised you weren’t going to bite me. The snake said you knew what i was when you picked me up.
